SICILY. Kamarina. Circa 410-405 BC. Litra (Silver, 11 mm, 0.72 g, 2 h). ΚΑΜΑΡΙΝΑ Head of the nymph Kamarina to left, wearing sphendone decorated with star, ampyx, spiral earring and necklace. Rev. Swan swimming left with raised wings and curved neck; below, waves and a fish swimming left. Jameson 529. SNG ANS 1210. Westermark & Jenkins 170. Rare and nicely toned. Small flan crack and with some porosity, otherwise, very fine.
